The 59th edition of the annual Tideway head will take place on December 8th, over the 4.25-mile Championship Course between Mortlake and Putney. More than 500 scullers are expected to take place in this year’s event, which organisers claim to be the largest single-division processional single sculls race in the world. The maximum number of entries for the head is expected to be reached ahead of Sunday’s deadline, at which point priority will be given to paid entries.
