Staff Update

Ross Chadwick – Online Projects Officer
Ross began working with British Rowing towards the end of September. Ross, joins the IT team working with websites and our various online projects such as online entry and club audits.

Laura joined the IT team at the start of November with a primary focus on developing and enhancing communications across British Rowing online projects. On a typical day in the office you can expect to find Laura working on the website, RowHow, newsletters and social media.

Annabel started with the Explore Rowing team at British Rowing in mid November. Annabel is planning and coordinating various rowing events across the country. Whilst based at the Hammersmith headquarters, you can expect to see Annabel spending more time working with clubs to organise Explore Rowing events throughout 2011.

James joined the GB Rowing Team in the middle of October this year. Working as part of the administration team, James supports GB Rowing in international competition with specific responsibilities in the Technical, Medical and Sports Science Programmes.

Sharon Noble-Layng – Coaching Development Officer
Sharon joined the Coaching & Development Team in September and is based at our Bedford Office. She is working with Team Leader, Kes Stapleton, to support clubs and volunteers with our rowing programmes in the Eastern Region. As part of her role Sharon is also working to support the implementation of British Rowing’s Equity action plan.
